5-22-25 A rainy day

Dedicated to Robert Whatley. A dear friend who is going into hospice today in Tucson, AZ. My Soul is sad for your journey in this life coming to an end. You were one of the most brilliant and talented men I've ever met (and your calves were unbelievable LOL). I don't understand how love grabbed you and kidnapped your heart (with Glenda the Bad Witch LOL). I recall you sobbing and sobbing on the phone while I strolled about my Mother's trailer park listening to you go on and on about how much you loved him. Him--who fucked clients in his massage work-room next to your bedroom; him who held a gun to your heard as you woke one morning in bed "I could kill you now" he said. Your enmeshment with him--I just never understood. Him-who to me was more like a snake or a statue or a toy man with a heart made of empty space. But I'm glad you have been in life, nevertheless. This is for you dear friend.
