The primary therapeutic function of massage is to keep soft tissues soft. I specialize in therapeutic, deep tissue or more relaxing, nurturing, sensual massage. I'm an expert in anatomy and injury treatment. My massage techniques include elements of Swedish, deep tissue, sports, myofascial release, trigger point, Tui Na, and facilitated stretching.
Since 1991 I have been practicing professional massage and fitness instruction including five years at Calvary Hospital doing hospice and palliative care massage and two years at Memorial Sloan Kettering/Child Care Center teaching exercise and stress reduction techniques to the parents of children in treatment there; and group & private exercise to cancer survivors.
